“I am interested in the idea of armor as an object of “aïllament” of the surrounding world, and according to the part of the things it protects. The armor is, now, a defense, a “transfiguration” of the cos in questioning the relations between our cos - with the center and space of foreseeable control - and in relation to the others - periphery and space of incertain lack of control - . The dichotomy between the interior-centre and the exterior-peripheral-is not so evident when it comes to relating to each other and crossing the limits of the things, when the proximity and distances are obscured and become vulnerable. . The object trobat is converted into a prelude, an introductory piece to a series of textile sculptures that strike a balance between vulnerability and protection, (de)construct the concepts to create new imaginations.”
